Abstract painting which exists primarily to arouse emotions. I believe that in composition of picture, within the framework of the colour relations and the immediacy of a drawing, one can find creative energy without which any attempt at artistic elucidation of reality is impossible. Energy must rule the painting, but it must note violete the atmosphere.
